Ranjani Kapur

Donor Relations Coordinator

Ranjani Kapur

I am based out of Charlotte, North Carolina. Education has been my passion from my youth. After completing my Master’s in Commerce degree , I started my first job as a lecturer at Jesus and Mary College in Delhi 40 years back. After an initial stint in a corporate job , I switched to teaching and I taught Accounting and Economics for nearly 15 years in Pune .

I moved from India in 2010 to the UK and pivoted towards volunteering . I had 3 volunteering experiences in varying fields from accounting to customer care. As I moved to the US in 2014, I continued my volunteering and joined Sewa and a teacher for one of their projects. When opportunity came in to be a Coordinator for Sponsor a Child program in 2015, I gladly accepted as it well aligned to my passion for education. I am very glad about my 10 years of association with this program and seeing it grow from infancy to supporting 3500 children in 2024.
