Ravi’s relationship with SAC goes back three years, when his parents first heard about it from his school, Shri Viveka Bala Mandira. His father runs a tea shop, which Ravi helps out with when he is not in school.

The savings from the tea shop alone were not enough to shape the future for both Ravi and his brother, and so the support of the SAC program was of enormous help to the family. Ravi, though studying to be a doctor, takes interest in discussions about a variety of topics, from the environment to Hindu mythology. While Ravi is gladly reminiscent of the friends he has made through the SAC, his parents find great strength in the encouragement and promise offered by it.
