VTCL, established in 1988 as Non formal residential School in Hosahalli, H.D.Kote taluk, Mysore district; Recognized by Government of Karnataka in 1990.

Nearly 400 students from indigenous tribal community (Jenukuruba, Kadukuruba, Yerava, Soliga and other) study in this school from class 1 to 10. Till date, over 600 students completed their high school education 270 students have been employed in various sectors serving in government, private agencies and many are self employed.
