Monica A. hails from a family of four, where her father previously worked as an auto driver. However, due to an accident, he is unable to work regularly. Monica's mother works in the bisi uta program (mid-day scheme) and also sells flowers in the evenings to supplement their income. Monica's younger sister has written class 10 exam and awaiting results.

The family resides in a rented house. Monica excelled in her academics, securing 99% in SSLC and 97% in PUC (Science PCMB) from St. Anne's Girls PU College, Bagalkot. She enjoys singing, reading, and supporting her mother in her free time. Monica's exceptional achievement of scoring 100 out of 100 in mathematics during her PUC further reflects her dedication and academic prowess.
