Vivekananda Residential School, Managoli village, Basavana Bagewadi Taluk Bijapur District, Karnataka is for neglected and downtrodden, destitute and deprived. The hostel sheltered children of Kargil martyrs and now comprises children of slum dwellers, habitants of Lambani tandas and farmers that committed suicide and others.
In the year 2010, the school began with 30 students and today the strength is 417 with an outstanding achievement in SSLC (10th) results as reflected below:
